On January 27th, 2022, the Asha-Jyothi team were invited to attend the Fairfax County Public School board meeting. At this meeting, the school board chair Ms Stella Pekarsky, read a resolution in honor of Asha-Jyothi’s contributions to FCPS and this was passed unanimously. Asha-Jyothi was honored for its initiatives in health care and education, giving over 250,000 dollars to Fairfax Public Schools. Asha-Jyothi’s Educate-Innovate program’s donation funded the Innovation Lab at Chantilly HS.  Click here to read the official resolution.

In 2018, Asha-Jyothi took action to integrate with the local community and increase awareness about Asha-Jyothi through supporting schools. Starting the Educate-Innovate program, Asha-Jyothi gave $106,000 to build the Chantilly High School Innovation Lab which offers 3D printing, robotics, VR, and more. Asha-Jyothi also gave a grant of $60,000 to Rocky Run Middle School for a makerspace.

In 2021, Asha-Jyothi donated 18,000 to Fairfax County Public Schools and continues to give technology grants to various schools.
