Gen Yuvaa : Building Futures Through Education: Supporting 105 Children

Supporting the Education of 105 Children from Gen Yuvaa

At Asha Jyothi, we believe that education is the most powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty. Through our continued partnership with Generation Yuvaa, we are proud to support the uninterrupted education of 105 children from vulnerable communities in Visakhapatnam.

This campaign is focused on covering school fees for the next academic year—ensuring that these children remain in school, continue learning, and move closer to a brighter future.

Why This Campaign Matters

For children supported through this program, life began on the streets. Generation Yuvaa works at the grassroots level, rescuing child beggars from the streets and providing them with safe shelter, nutritious food, and care. A few years ago, Asha jyothi constructed a dedicated shelter home at a cost of USD 125,000, creating a secure environment where children could heal, regain stability, and begin their journey back into education.

Timely payment of school fees is critical to prevent dropouts and ensure continuity in learning. This campaign addresses that urgent need—keeping classrooms open and dreams alive.

Children We Are Supporting

The 105 children supported under this campaign are part of Generation Yuvaa’s child rehabilitation and education program and are currently studying in the following schools in Visakhapatnam:

  • Raman’s School, Jyothi Nagar
  • Bala Bhanu School, Murali Nagar
  • Chalapathi School, Gajuwaka
  • Mother’s Public School, Sabbavaram

Each child represents a story of resilience, recovery, and renewed hope.
