Srija’s Rangapravesam Fundraiser

Srija Yerneni, a rising junior at Robbinsville High School, New Jersey, has been training in the classical Indian dance form of Kuchipudi for the past 10 years.
This summer, she will present her Rangapravesam, a debut solo performance that marks a dancer’s formal graduation to the stage, on June 29th, 2025.

For Srija, this milestone is not just a personal accomplishment, but also a chance to make a meaningful impact. She has chosen to use her Rangapravesam as a platform to raise funds for an underprivileged family in India, with the goal of supporting the children’s education through high school and, if possible, college. She believes deeply in the transformative power of education and hopes to help open doors for a brighter future.

Beyond dance, Srija is a committed volunteer with Asha-Jyothi, a nonprofit dedicated to education and health initiatives. She has actively participated in several of their community fundraisers and charity runs, further strengthening her commitment to service and equity.

Srija hopes to channel the joy and discipline of her art into this heartfelt cause. All proceeds and donations from Srija’s Rangapravesam will be used to support the educational needs for 1-2 unprivileged kids. No contribution is too small, and every act of generosity makes a difference.
