Asha Jyothi’s PA’s new Pacific Northwest wing in Portland, led by a dedicated team of high school students, is launching a year-long campaign to fund life-saving kidney dialysis for underprivileged patients in Mumbai. By partnering with the Gokhale Dialysis Centre, whose aim is to reduce the 40% spike in kidney disease-related deaths in Maharashtra. These funds are critical for families who currently face costs up to ₹2,000 per session with minimal state support, often forcing them to choose between healthcare and basic survival.
By covering the full cost of dialysis sessions at the Nana Palkar Institute, our team aims to remove the financial barriers that prevent low-income individuals from accessing consistent care. Every donation helps sustain the center’s mission to provide high-quality medical technology to those who need it most, ensuring that a patient’s financial background never dictates their right to health.
