It is estimated that approximately 11.5% of children across India live in extremely underprivileged households, often lacking access to basic necessities such as food, clean water, healthcare, and, frequently, proper education. Asha Jyothi is dedicated to supporting these children by providing essential resources like school supplies, uniforms, and educational materials.

We are encouraged by the progress we’ve made so far, including the recent achievement of bringing smiles to nearly 1,000 underprivileged students in Karnataka. Thanks to the generous contributions of our donors, the dedication of our volunteers, and the ongoing support from friends and supporters, Asha Jyothi was able to distribute school kits-including books and backpacks-to 11 schools in the Koppal and Bellary districts.

Witnessing the joy and hope on the faces of these children reaffirms our purpose and motivates us to continue our efforts. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn and flourish, and it is our sincere hope to expand these initiatives further, touching more lives with each step.
