Between July 2024 and December 2025, Asha Jyothi, in partnership with Generation Yuvaa (Welfare Society), supported two focused education initiatives aimed at ensuring uninterrupted schooling and holistic educational support for children from vulnerable backgrounds .

Campaign 1: Holistic Education Support for 50 Children : Total cost : $24,000

Through this campaign, Asha Jyothi provided comprehensive education sponsorship for 50 underprivileged children, addressing both academic and essential school-related needs.

Support covered:

  • School fees
  • Transportation assistance
  • School uniforms
  • Books, stationery, and learning materials
  • Other essential educational requirements

This initiative ensured that children could attend school regularly, learn with dignity, and focus on their overall development without financial or logistical barriers.

Campaign 2: Term 2 & Term 3 School Fees Support for 105 Children : $11,000

Under the Child Rehabilitation and Education Program, Asha Jyothi extended targeted support for 105 children by funding Term 2 and Term 3 school fees, ensuring continuity in education during the academic year.

The children are currently studying at the following schools in Visakhapatnam:

  • Raman’s School – Jyothi Nagar
  • Bala Bhanu School – Murali Nagar
  • Chalapathi School – Gajuwaka
  • Mother’s Public School – Sabbavaram

Overall Impact

Across both initiatives, Asha Jyothi’s support has positively impacted 155 children, reducing the risk of school dropouts and strengthening access to quality education. These efforts reflect our continued commitment to creating sustainable change through education.
